BCCI concludes its visit to the Philippines

The business delegation of the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) headed by Chairman Mr. Khalid Al Moayed has concluded its visit to the Republic of the Philippines, which came in a bid to solidify Bahrain-Philippines business cooperation, encourage trade and investment, and step-up partnership.

The delegation held a meeting with the Philippines Finance Secretary Carlos Dominguez in the presence of the Special Envoy of the President of Republic of Philippines Dr. Amable R. Aguiluz, during which memoranda of understanding were signed and a number of proposals were made, key among which the establishing of financial institutions and allowing Bahrainis 100% ownership of real-estates in the Philippines. The delegation held another meeting with the Agriculture Undersecretary Bernaderre Romulo-Puyat and discussed the prospect of joint business and trade.

It is worth to mention that the delegation included the chamber’s treasurer Mr. Isa Al Refaei, vice-treasurer Mr. Mohamed Sajid, member of the executive bureau Mr. Ahmed bin Hindi, board member Ms. Khulood Al Qattan , head of the coffee shops and restaurants committee Mr. Ahmed Al Saloom, among other BCCI members.
