BCCI calls the business community to take part in the First Bahraini-Egyptian Joint Exhibition

Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister, and in line with the keenness of the leadership of the Kingdom of Bahrain and the leadership of the Arab Republic of Egypt stressing on reinforcing ties and stepping up business cooperation, the Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) and in cooperation with the Federation of Egyptian Industries are holding the First Bahraini-Egyptian Exhibition. The Exhibition will take place between 16th and 18th May 2017 at Bahrain International Exhibition and Convention Center.

In this regard, BCCI board member and head of the Bahraini side of the Bahraini-Egyptian Joint Business Council Ms. Afnan Al Zayani expressed pride in the organizations and businesses taking part in the event, which include top government and non-government bodies and businesses from Bahrain and Egypt. She stated that the exhibition will embrace exhibitors from a wide spectrum of business activities, which include the industrial, financial, medical, tourism, real-estate, banking, engineering, weaving and carpets, food, jewelry, and more. And underlined that the Expo will also designate a pavilion for crafts and another for painters, and an art concert titled “The GCC and the Nile meet” in which artists from Bahrain and Egypt will perform.

Ms. Al Zayani extended deep thanks and appreciation to all bodies supporting the event, which include the Ministry of Industry, Commerce, and Tourism; the Ministry of Information Affairs; Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority; Bahrain Bourse; Bahrain Authority for Culture and Antiquities; and the Federation of GCC Chambers. She also extended thanks and appreciation to the sponsors of the event, namely Al Baraka Group; Tamkeen; Ahli United Bank; GPIC; ALBA; DHL; and Eskan Bank from Bahrain; and from Egypt, sponsors Egyptian Tourism Authority; Tahya Misr Fund; Egypt-based Ahli United Bank; and Tour n Cure. She also extended special thanks to the official carrier of the event Egypt Air; the Federation of Egyptian Industries; the Egyptian ambassador to Bahrain H.E Suha Al Far and her team at the embassy; and the local newspapers in Bahrain.

It is worth to mention that coinciding the event, the Bahraini-Egyptian Joint Business Council will hold its fourth meeting on 17th May 2017, which will discuss the outcomes of the First Bahraini-Egyptian Exhibition, the council’s plans, and the arrangements for the next joint exhibition to be held in Egypt in 2018.
